Thanks for taking the time to take a look at the ATPhoto website. I trust the images here give you a sense of what interests me as a photographer, and you find something interesting yourself. Better yet, if you think you'd like me to cover your event, please feel free to get in touch. I'm always happy to discuss coverage options.

I specialise in three areas of photography; sport, events and dance. All of which offer a great balance of action and people doing things they love. You'll find highlights from my personal and client work throughout this site. I take pride in understanding the events I cover and taking the time to fully understand the photography brief. You'll find I relate well to people. I aim to shoot in an unobtrusive manner as possible, while balancing this against the need to capture the key moments that make an event memorable.

My role as a freelance contributor to Stuff/Fairfax sees me roaming around the Wellington region, providing sports and event coverage for regular publication in the weekly Wellington regional newspapers.

I've gained accreditation for a range of international and domestic sporting competitions including the A League, ANZ championship, HSBC Sevens and NBL basketball. Being a big fan of sport generally, I also get out and shoot a wide range of other sporting events at both senior and junior levels around Wellington.

I do a lot of dance photography around Wellington, covering competitions and end of year productions. This has extended into college productions. A lot of fun and challenging , with low light being a good test of skills and equipment.

I shoot Canon gear, and I've built up a set of high quaility bodies and lens to meet the requirements of the challenging venues and subjects I get to photograph.
